THE IDEALS
The Ideal Maine Social Aid and Sanctuary Band (IDEALS) is a street band styled in the tradition of the New Orleans second line and the Honk! activist festival. This community band welcomes performers of all levels and maintains a rotating lineup of dozens of musicians ranging from hobbyists to professionals, aged 17 to 70.
PRIMARY LOGO
The idea was to create a logo inspired on the bold visual style from the New Orleans Jazz Bands with a touch of Maine. The goal was to make this a circular composition so it could naturally fit as a stamp or sticker in the drums of the band.
