Designing an inclusive supplier platform that prioritizes vendors from marginalized communities.
OVERVIEW
Supplier Search is a platform powered by the Vice President of Finance at MIT that looks to create habits of mindfulness and purpose when purchasing while creating tools that are widely and repeatedly used in the community.
I was hired by Redfin Solutions to define the UI design around this project connected to MIT, keeping a similar look and feel while staying independent and different to the institution.

The modular elements and sections were key for this design to function as a drag and drop interface for anyone to keep the site updated without the need of an expert.

CHALLENGES?
A fun one was to create a woman icon without falling in the use of a dress/skirt or use of flowers. I decided to make use of the moon, a feminine symbol across different cultures.
